Are enterprises adopting the right learning approach to close the widening skill gaps?
What we are seeing today is that, an increasing number of enterprises are now resorting to upskilling and reskilling employees in a bid to bridge the skill gap – as opposed to depending on an already near-dry and expensive external talent pool. However, it’s also important to remember that this reskilling needs to be a continuous effort toward filling new job roles. Simply put, the learning strategy should not just focus on creating familiarity and awareness on emerging technology skills but on the other hand, focus on driving mastery in these skills that can in turn drive positive business outcomes and better ROI.
