The highly diverse Asia Pacific healthcare industry shares many common imperatives. The obvious number one being to improve patient outcomes and care. Other priorities include operational efficiency, furthering medical knowledge and capabilities, and employee and customer satisfaction.
TRA’s research found that the priority IT projects for the next 12 months that will be pursued to address the goals and challenges, include data centre optimisation, edge computing deployment, customer and employee experience improvement. Notably, 80% of organisations said they currently already use cloud computing with two thirds of this having positive experiences.
